F*ck that plot: defeat, kiss, makes she fall in love with you, and joins the harem. Loves the design of the characters but I don't like harem in this anime and the story itself. It feels like you make them fall in love with you, toying with their feeling, and using mission to save the world or to save them as an excuse and facade. Then you fall in love with the main girl while left all other girls that already fall in love with you behind with a satisfy ending to make audience satisfy. MC doesn't look like he loves all spirits that he made them fall in love with him but individually, which is Tohka.

The series plot suppose to be a good one when S3 arrived but JC staff butchered it up when the 12th episode released, the turning point is perfect in the novel but they clearly discarded it. They should've make it as a movie for the episode 12th that contain very much every detail and main plot in the series. This is why some people prefer the novel over the anime, S3 was total garbage to the series because of the director that leading it. Thus i finished my ranting about your "OHHH KURUMII I WANT TO SEE HER." opinion. Goodbye

I get it, he has his favorite girl. But everything that he did, he made the girls all for him on purpose not other way around. It's not MCs fault tho, there's a clear lack of writing skills coming from the author which the anime directors are also making painfully obvious that it exists. There is a greater plot to the story BUT it's always getting sidetracked by the episodic format of the everyday events, which are put there for no reason other than delaying the end. Instead of focusing in episodic "enemy of the week" they could be making slice of life stories centered around the main cast, while giving small bits of lore at every beginning and ending of the episodes/chapters, they could focus on giving the MC a more fleshed out explanation to his powers, some dark moments where the main cast reflect on their weaknesses... But every moment anyone does a big dumb over a situation where they could win if they just used their brains, nobody feels guilty and they just move on to live in this perfect paradise setting. Idk if it's a flaw from the author or the adaptation, but if they just stopped making the characters look dumb as a way to delay the progression of the main story, this whole thing would be so much more satisfying to watch. The way everything is, it seems the only people that can do something is Westcott, Kurumi who's always doing something behind the scenes and everyone else who hasn't appeared in the story. It's fucking sad.

Anime and Light novel aren't always on the same page, many info parts are often cut out before the animated scene is made. So yea, you would felt there's something missed out while watching the anime. The previous three seasons were under the same director and the team which weren't very helped when it came to that critical part, thus it's not the author's fault which he have no power over the studio, only the higher-ups does.
Right now, the new director and the team under GeekToys are doing their best to make this be more faithful to the plot than before but they only can do so much without make things even more confused because of the "cursed s3 ep. 12th" which was supposed to be the biggest turn of the plot and J.C. Staff screwed that so badly.

I just don't like the story where MC made them fall for him on purposes and dumb them for the main girl. Tbh, it would be better if MC helps them without making them fall in love with him but rather the girls fall for him without MC and the team effort.

Looks like story becomes even more convoluted with each volume.
